A friend in Jakarta telephoned the woman, she confirmed the availability of the babies but when he asked too many questions the woman hang up.

Could this be a child trafficking ring? It is not clear if the woman wanted to prevent the children from being transported to Batam (famous for its criminalities), Bandung and Jakarta, or that she is offering the children at these three points, thus making herself part of the trafficking syndicate.
